organization. - Mr. Kazzaz will talk about the
lessons learned in ASC X12’s creating and promoting a
cross-industry, business to business (B2B) data
interchange standard. He will talk about the
challenges facing all the standards bodies to
cooperatively maximize participation and optimize
efforts in moving from an intensive application B2B
interface environment to a plug and play, consumer to
business environment. |

- The Universal Business Language, designed to provide
XML business document formats for the ebXML framework,
has been adopted by governments in Denmark, Sweden, and
the UK, and is currently under active consideration by
other government agencies in Europe and Asia. This
report provides an update on UBL 2.0, expected to be
ratified as an OASIS Standard in 4Q2006.
