4.2 Business Process Elaboration

4.2.1 The Actors

The roles "actors" of the various partners involved in the development of an electronic model agreement and the negotiation and execution of a multi-partner consensus version are the initiators or participants in the use cases that follow.

Enterprise contract administration is responsible for customizing the standard electronic model agreement to reflect the enterprise's model electronic agreement for public display on their enterprise site. It is understood they have the authority to establish the electronic model agreement for their enterprise and retain ultimate ownership and maintenance rights to that enterprise model agreement.

Trading partner contract administration is responsible for reviewing and providing counter offers to the proposed standard electronic model agreement presented by the enterprise. It is understood the trading partner contract administration representative has the authority to negotiate and accept the electronic model agreement for their enterprise and retain ultimate ownership and maintenance rights to that enterprise model agreement.
